21 May Flour and veggies pancake
An invention out of shortage of groceries is what i would call this a s.But then what defines a prolific, cook may I ask? Its his /her ability to transform something plain into a delightful lucrative dish with the right blend of ingredients
So here I was, one afternoon with crazy hunger pangs to tame.And I had hardly any snack at home to crave my hunger, nothing at all.I didnt have the heart to make a meal for myself nor have fruits,i needed some snacks.Looking around all i had tit bits of veggies.
So what i did was mix them up with flour and made some wonderful pancakes.A great way to include carrots in my diet, which i dnt like anyways a a veggie even with a dish or as a salad.
Flour- 1/2 cup
Carrots grated- 1 small
Potatoes boiled grated- 1 small
coriander leaves choped- few
salt- as per tatse
green chillies- 1 chopped
Cucumber/Zuccini grated- 1/4th cup
onions- 1 small chopped
boiled corn crushed- 1/4th cup
water- to make the batter
semolina- 2 tsp
Oats powder-2 tbsp(optional)
- Combine all the ingredients and make a batter enough to spread for a pancake
- Put oil in a pan and spread the batter to form a pancake.
- Fry on medium high flame and turn once the lower side in done. Fry on both sides and serve warm
